Asma Laajimi

Asma Laajimi is an emerging talent in photography, videography, and visual arts.

Asma’s practice is inspired by her intimate relationships with her surroundings. She observes the environment she exists within from a different perspective and looks at it with a very personal outlook. This has heavily influenced the photography and video works and added to them a hint of intimacy, delicacy, and fragility.

Through her video “Terrain du permis”, she takes us on a post-apocalyptic journey through the remains of a city. Between fiction and reality, she expresses her frustrations in a subtle way with beautiful esthetics.
