Hammzat Tahabsim (b.1997, Amman) is a Jordanian painter and architect. His work explores various themes experimenting with the cross-pollination of tactile areas of the arts and the human environment. He is curious about the intersection of history, botanical friendships, architecture, and textiles in forming the language and the foundations of a multidisciplinary approach to image-making. His practice explores the contours of social life through embodied learning, memory, and imagination. In his paintings, he intends to render affectionate scenarios of nature and figures that play with concepts of the ephemeral and resilient.
