Over the last 10 years, Omar develop and manage cultural arts programs. His areas of expertise span both visual and performance arts. Serving local, national, and international communities, these projects include educational workshops, special events and festivals, and cultural exchanges.
His work intends to create forms of collective art initiatives in reaction and response to local and global crises and analyze and reflect upon how the arts contribute to sustainable human development.
In 2015, founded the International Artists Gathering of Fez, and his is currently working on the next edition which will explore the role of arts in a time of global transformation in 2022, Currently working on a project called the Fez Square that is dedicated to bringing contemporary arts to the public spacesto foster the growth of the arts community in the old Medina.
