Sophia Schall

Sophia Schall is a cultural manager and producer from Berlin currently residing in Amman.  She focuses on creating platforms that facilitate joint interdisciplinary productions, with a particular interest in combining ethnographic research approaches with artistic and creative formats. Her projects often address context sensitive political, social and cultural questions and create unconventional experiences and new forms of knowledge mediation. At the moment, she is particularly interested in questions of sustainability, initiating and facilitating projects at the intersection of art and design.

Sophia holds a BA in International Relations and an MSc in Political Science. She currently works in the cultural program department of the Goethe-Institut in Amman.
